Job Description:
We're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Remote Data Entry Specialist. As a member of our IT Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, performing data entry tasks, and collaborating with various departments to drive success. Your duties will include:
- Resolving technical issues and closing tickets/work orders
- Answering customer care issues raised from the Helpdesk
- Contributing to desktop projects (global installs/upgrades) as a project team member
- Remotely diagnosing and resolving requests using remote tools
- Investigating and collaborating with different departments to assist with system-related issues
- Recording customer interactions in incident management system, including asset management
- Recovering data from hard disk drives or performing data migration
- Supporting remote access for virtual private network connectivity as well as remote/broadband connectivity for workstations
- Installing and configuring local and network-based printers
- Performing preventive maintenance
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Firsthand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
- Knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10
- Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment
