Job Title: Recruitment Consultant & Business Development Specialist Job Type: Freelance / Remote Compensation: Commission-based Location: Remote (Global) Contract: Exclusive Services Agreement OVERVIEW At Search | Select | Hire Talent, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Consultant & Business Development Specialist to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter with a passion for identifying top talent and building strong client relationships, combined with a focus on growing new business opportunities. As this is a commission-based position, the successful candidate will be motivated by performance, possess excellent networking skills, and be highly self-motivated to achieve placement targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: • Source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates across various industries and roles. • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and candidate presentation to clients. • Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies. • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure a perfect match with client needs. 2. Client Relationship Management: • Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction. • Act as a trusted recruitment partner by understanding clients' hiring needs, organisational culture, and long-term goals. 3. Business Development: • Proactively identify and approach potential clients to offer recruitment solutions. • Pitch recruitment services to new businesses and secure exclusive recruitment agreements. • Maintain a proactive approach to market research, identifying industry trends and business opportunities. • Build strategic partnerships with organisations and industry networks to enhance client base. 4. Freelance & Remote Setup: • Operate autonomously as a remote consultant, managing your own schedule and tasks. • Utilise remote collaboration tools to communicate effectively with clients and candidates. • Adhere to all contractual obligations related to exclusive service agreements. QUALIFICATIONS • Experience: Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally combined with new business development. • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of successfully placing candidates across different sectors. SKILLS • Strong negotiation and sales skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. • Adept in sourcing strategies, networking, and candidate attraction techniques. • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote working environment. • Technology Proficient: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, job boards), and online collaboration tools.
