<p><strong>Role: PACS Technical Specialist (Merge Expertise)</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Remote - Milwaukee, WI (Onsite 3–4 times/month)</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview:</strong></p><p>We are looking for <strong>2 experienced PACS </strong>with deep hands-on experience in <strong>Merge PACS</strong>. The role focuses on designing, building, and implementing enterprise imaging workflows across radiology environments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, configure, build, and implement solutions using the <strong>Merge Healthcare</strong> suite (Merge PACS, Merge RIS, etc.)</li><li>Lead PACS integrations with EMR, VNA, and imaging modalities</li><li>Execute workstation rollout, modality configuration, DICOM router setup, and data migration</li><li>Develop and enforce technical standards and best practices for imaging workflows</li><li>Troubleshoot PACS, DICOM, HL7, networking, storage, and performance issues</li><li>Work closely with vendors, radiology teams, IT teams, and onshore/offshore groups</li><li>Support or lead PACS consolidation and migration projects</li><li>Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for internal teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years in Healthcare IT</li><li>Minimum 3 years architecting/administering <strong>Merge PACS</strong></li><li>Deep understanding of <strong>DICOM, HL7, IHE</strong> radiology standards</li><li>Hands-on with PACS administration, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting</li><li>Experience with VNA, storage systems, disaster recovery, and security best practices</li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Merge Healthcare certifications</li><li>Experience with cloud PACS/VNA ecosystems</li><li>Background working with large hospitals or health systems</li><li><strong>Merge Cardio</strong> experience (highly preferred)</li></ul><p></p>
