The Role
• Title:
Brief Writer / Law & Motion Attorney (Mid‑Senior)
• You will:
• Draft class certification briefs, dispositive and Daubert/Frye motions, appellate‑style briefs, oppositions, and complex legal memoranda.
• Analyze records, develop legal theories, and craft persuasive narratives for PAGA/FLSA and other employment matters.
• Partner with trial teams on strategy, mediation statements, and arbitration briefing—project‑based, writing‑only workload.
Salary & Benefits
• Base:
Up to $200,000 depending on experience
• Bonus:
Partner‑allocated based on performance, leadership, mentorship, and firm contributions (not origination).
Requirements
• California Bar active and in good standing.
• 5+ years experience.
• Class Action & Wage & Hour Experience.
• Either prior judicial clerkship (state or federal) with strong opinion‑writing background, or significant wage & hour class/collective action experience with a proven record of high‑quality briefing.
• Exceptional research & writing; ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote, project‑driven environment.
