The Marketing & Pricing Analyst will manage pricing data, track market trends, and develop market reports while supporting the trading desk and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update pricing data using Excel, RightAngle and other internal tools
- Set daily propane rack prices across Canada and the U.S
- Track market pricing trends and key propane hub data
- Develop and distribute market reports and pricing updates
- Build and maintain forecasting models and analytics tools
- Support invoice verification and month-end inventory reporting
- Provide pricing insights to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assist with fixed price quotes and accounting coordination
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and support logistics and marketing teams
Skills
- Post secondary education in data analytics and finance
- A minimum of 1 year experience in oil & gas, energy, and commodity based industries
- Advanced knowledge of Excel with strong financial modeling skills, and VBA experience
- Knowledge of RightAngle would be considered an asset
- Must be a team player and understand team dynamics
- Strong analytical skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work appropriately while maintaining strong attention to detail
