Job Overview We are seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead private placement and capital raising initiatives across one of our core sectors: Healthcare & Life Sciences, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing & Industrials. This senior role focuses on growth-stage companies from Series A through pre-IPO, with transaction sizes typically ranging from $10M to $100M. We are scaling fast and need to increase the capacity of clients we can onboard. Key Responsibilities • Capital Markets & Transaction Execution: Originate, structure, and execute private placement transactions and capital raises for clients in healthcare, life sciences, infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial sectors • Lead the transaction lifecycle from client engagement through successful closing • Maintain deep knowledge of market conditions, investor appetite, and sector-specific trends • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities • Investor Relations & Fundraising: Cultivate and expand relationships with venture capital firms, growth equity investors, private equity firms, family offices, and strategic partners in US and European markets • Maintain awareness of investor mandates, investment criteria, sector focuses, and portfolio strategies • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on transaction execution and client service Required Qualifications • Experience: 15+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related capital markets roles • Proven track record of successfully executing private placements and capital raises in the $10M-$100M range for growth-stage companies (Series A through pre-IPO) • Deep expertise in at least one of the following sectors: Healthcare & Life Sciences, Infrastructure, Manufacturing & Industrials • Demonstrated ability to originate and lead transactions independently • Experience working with clients and investors across US and European markets • Experience structuring complex transactions across various stages of company development • Relationship & Business Development: Established network of institutional investors, private equity firms, and/or strategic partners • History of successful client development and relationship management • Ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into clients Preferred Qualifications • Active relationships with venture capital and growth equity investors in US and European markets • Experience with cross-border transactions between US and Europe • Prior experience with Series A to pre-IPO financing rounds • Relevant certifications (Series 7/79/63, or equivalent) What We Offer: • Performance-based compensation structure with significant upside potential --> 50% of retainer revenue per client you manage + 25-40% of the success fee revenue generated with no vesting period or resignation penalty. • Equity participation opportunities available after 2 years. • Fully remote work environment with flexibility across time zones • Collaborative culture with access to firm-wide resources and expertise • Opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our private placements practice Location: Remote (US Preferred or Europe-based preferred) The next steps: • Apply here or shoot me an email at [email protected] with the information above • I'll get on a 30 minute call with you and we'll discuss further.
