About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Product Manager to design, develop, and manage activities for our Connected Car product line, specifically focusing on the AT&T myVehicle portal. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including research and development, market analysis, business planning, and product lifecycle management. As a Lead Product Management and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the business case and P&L for assigned products, working closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize product and feature enhancements, and negotiating with vendors to improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and product support.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new products or features by translating and documenting customer and technical requirements into final product design.
- Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements, and conduct research and analysis on defined markets.
- Prepare and present requirements, plans, and business cases for new or modified products and services, partnering with business, technology, and UX teams to design or modify products to meet market, budget, and schedule specifications.
- Create product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans, managing ongoing lifecycle product performance and defining and driving initiatives to grow revenue and margin.
- Negotiate with vendors to improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and product support, serving as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of experience in product management or related fields, with a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and connected car solutions.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or computer science.
- Proven experience in driving business growth, managing complex products or product lines, and working with cross-functional teams to prioritize product and feature enhancements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with agile development methodologies, cloud-based technologies, and data analytics tools, as well as a master's degree in a relevant field.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
As a Lead Product Management and Development Specialist at AT&T, you will be eligible for a competitive salary range of $128,400.00 - $215,800.00, as well as a range of perks and benefits, including:
