Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Leak Proof Welder to join our team at Eaton's ES AMER ESS division, located in Waukesha, WI. As a Leak Proof Welder, you will play a critical role in assembling 3 phase/Switch module/Regulator tanks with leakproof seams, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

- Compensation: Competitive salary of $26.25 per hour + $2.50/hr shift premium

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will operate a pulse welding machine, stud welder, cutting torch, plasma cutter, grinder, and jib crane to assemble tanks with leakproof seams. You will also check parts against blueprints for proper dimensions and locations, use fixtures and jigs, and sign off on safety and quality checklists.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Check material specifications and dimensions on shop orders and prints against customer specifications for accuracy
- Cut and trim material using oxygen-acetylene torch and plasma when required
- Assemble component parts to front plates checking part numbers and locations against blueprints
- Assemble and weld front plate, tank bottom, and tank body, including corrugate, providing all leakproof seams
- Grind excess weld from seams, edges, and gasket seats to improve the fit of parts
- Operate jib and bridge crane to move and position heavy parts and assemblies
Qualifications:
- High School education or GED from an accredited institution required
- Completion of a 1-year Technical School diploma from an accredited institution AND/OR a minimum of 2 years of welding experience in mig and arc welding
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered
