A law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation and will manage a diverse caseload, represent clients in court, and provide legal advice on insurance matters. Duties: • Represent clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings. • Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. • Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on insurance defense matters. • Provide clients with comprehensive legal advice and guidance on insurance claims, coverage issues, and liability. • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and legal professionals. • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management. • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required. • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to insurance defense. Requirements: • 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. • Admission to the Georgia State Bar. • Proven track record of handling insurance defense cases. • Strong understanding of insurance law and legal procedures. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Education: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: • Active membership and good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
