About the position
Responsibilities
• Oversee a team of analysts with the primary responsibility of working closely with the program teams to influence all financial aspects of the programs including: financial forecasting and reporting, Earned Value Management and compliance, Estimates at Completion (EACs), proposal support, cash management, etc.
• Develop talent within the direct-reporting team, including training early-career analysts and mentoring advanced analysts.
• Responsible for the Financial Forecasting of a Sub-Program within the PCS portfolio including assistance in preparation of monthly Latest Estimate of Bookings/Sales/Profit/Cash, monthly Short-Range Outlook (SRO), the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Strategic Financial Plan (SFP).
• Communicate with multiple levels of management and effectively interact with multiple layers within the organization.
• Provide support for ad hoc data reporting as well as participating in senior level projects and product-line initiatives.
Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 8+ years professional experience in Program Controls with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Experience of applied EVMS principles, including Raytheon EVMS Certification.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups) and the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Nice-to-haves
• Proficient in APEX EV (SAP) and working knowledge of the SAP functions.
• Experience with PMX Tool systems.
• Supervisory experience.
• Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Capability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types.
• Experience with Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures; Estimate at Completes (EACs) and EDIT+; and experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools.
• Experience with external reporting, and customer interactions (IPMR, CFSR).
