About the Role
We're looking for a talented UX Design Leader to lead our team of skilled UX designers in building cutting-edge, provider-facing tools and experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Experience Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement a clear vision for the customer experience, balancing innovation, practicality, and business impact. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Analysis partners to foster a customer-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Client Research and Insights: Drive a deep understanding of our clients' needs, behaviors, and pain points through robust client research initiatives. Translate client insights into meaningful design principles and strategies that inform product development and continuous iteration and optimization.
- Data-Driven Design Decisions: Utilize data analysis and client behavior insights to make informed design decisions. Implement research results and client feedback analysis to validate design hypotheses and iterate on solutions.
- Design Execution and Delivery: Apply design thinking principles and oversee the creation of exceptional client experiences that solve objectives with elegant simplicity. Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and methodologies to more quickly deliver work.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of talented UX designers and design managers. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that enables creativity, continuous learning, and growth.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional UX experience with at least 5+ years of people management experience and growing leadership responsibilities.
- Design Skills: Strong understanding of design processes; knowledge of what is possible and what will be difficult to achieve as well as implement in a digital environment. Proficiency in current design tools like Figma, Sketch, Conceptual, Invision, Designer, UXPin, and Creative Suite.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to present and articulate ideas, openness to evolve opinions that challenge beliefs.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS. Involved skills are a plus.
- Portfolio: A web-based portfolio of case studies demonstrating experience in shaping B2B, SAAS, or Enterprise platform insight and your unwavering support for the client, scientific navigation, and strategic thinking.
