Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled UX Copywriter to join our Digital Content team, situated in Fremont. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and user-centered content across our digital products, including web and mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on utilizing copy to bring solutions, simplicity, and usability across our digital ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other Content Specialists in a fast-paced environment to emphasize UI and UX copy and bring concepts to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compose and edit copies that are centered across our digital products to help clients navigate our ecosystem seamlessly
• Collaborate with UX Design, Product Managers, Engineers, and other Content Experts in a rapid environment to emphasize UI and UX copy and bring concepts to production
• Work together with colleagues to integrate and iterate on feedback, ensuring that our content is user-centered and effective
• Conduct user research to focus on and advocate for clients in each stream, ensuring that our content meets their needs and expectations
• Contribute to the style guide for teaching copy and consistency in language, ensuring that our tone and voice are consistent across all digital products
• Define copy normalization and extend UX writing best practices to assist UX writing across all platforms for flexibility and accessibility
• Be a champion for bringing normalization, consistency, and creativity of copy across our platform and products, aligning with business goals and objectives
• Manage and prioritize the responsibility of multiple projects in parallel, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality is maintained

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in UX copy or content design for web, application, and email
• Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent relevant experience
• Exceptional collaboration, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
• Proven ability to consolidate feedback, track down solutions, and be detail-oriented
• Portfolio of writing samples, including interface copy, emails, and style guides
• Experience working with Design, Engineering, and Product teams, with a strong understanding of UX principles and human-centered design
• Strong editing skills, with the ability to refine and perfect content for clarity, tone, and style

Preferred Qualifications:

While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

• Experience with content management systems and workflow tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to code and implement content solutions
• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
