About the Role of a Stretch Therapist at StretchLab
As a Stretch Therapist at StretchLab, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one assisted stretches and leading guided group stretching classes for our clients. Your expertise and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility will enable you to deliver high-quality client care and experiences, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our sales associates, General Manager, and other staff members to promote our services, maintain a clean and welcoming studio environment, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, utilizing our proprietary technology and methods to create personalized and targeted wellness programs.
- Provide exceptional client care and experience, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules.
- Build and maintain a strong client base, converting first-time prospects into loyal members and retaining existing clients through outstanding service and results.
- Participate in networking and community events, studio promotions, and staff meetings to stay informed and contribute to the growth of our business.
- Handle member concerns and feedback in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a positive client experience.
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote our services, engage with clients, and contribute to the growth of our online community.
- Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours, sales, and promotions as needed, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective clients.
- Care for the studio, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities, to ensure a safe and inviting environment for clients and staff.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Stretch Therapist at StretchLab, you will need:
- A professional certification or expertise in a relevant discipline, such as physical therapy, massage therapy, personal training, Pilates, dance, or yoga instruction.
- Experience working in a fitness or wellness environment, providing hands-on training and guidance to clients.
- A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, with a strong understanding of the benefits and techniques involved.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide empathetic support.
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies, ensuring consistency and quality in our services.
- Availability to complete our comprehensive 3-day Flexologist Training Program, including 20 hours of online tutorials, 3 days of in-person training, and 20 hours of post-training practical application.
