About the Job
As a Search Quality Rater, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and grading internet search queries to help search engines work better
- Using your knowledge of pop culture and online trends to evaluate search results
- Working independently in a remote setting, with the flexibility to choose your own hours
- Meeting minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 29 hours per week
- Participating in a self-paced and automated recruitment process, with no formal interview required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluent written and spoken English
- A strong understanding of pop culture in the United States
- A reliable computer system and internet connection
- Familiarity with online search engines and how to use them effectively
- The ability to sign a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement and Service Level Agreement

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is designed to be efficient and straightforward. Here's an overview of the steps you can expect:
Stage 1: Application & Pre-Screening

* Welocalize will review your application and let you know if you're selected to move forward in the recruitment process
Stage 2: Profile Creation
* Create a profile in Welocalize systems with an email and password (your email must be a Gmail address)
* Answer a short list of questions to determine your eligibility to work on the project
* Review and sign our standard Non-Disclosure Agreement and Service-Level Agreement
Stage 3: Assessment & Review
* Complete a brief language assessment to ensure suitability with the work's language requirements
* Complete a client-created Entrance Exam, which simulates the actual work
* Our client reviews all candidates who pass the Entrance Exam for final approval
