Job Overview and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work from the comfort of your own home, providing inbound and outbound customer support via calls and/or the internet. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert customer experiences with a smile, using a call flow guide to navigate conversations
- Asking probing questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Persuading customers to purchase additional products and/or services, using your knowledge of upselling and persuasion techniques
- Building client relationships and finding new ways to retain customers, using your understanding of communication skills and relationship-building strategies
- Tracking, documenting, and retrieving information in databases, using your proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking and strong computer navigation skills
- Offering additional products and/or services with every interaction, using your knowledge of the company's products and services to make personalized recommendations
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ year of customer service experience, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences
- 6+ months of soft sales experience, with a basic understanding of upselling, persuasion, building relationships, and communication skills
- A high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in English and mathematics
- Open availability, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home, with a reliable computer and internet connection
- Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, with strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, with a willingness to adapt to changing systems and processes
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
