Job Description
As a Jr Data Entry Clerk at Blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data systems. You will be responsible for inputting and updating patient and prescription information, verifying and correcting data discrepancies, and collaborating with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and update patient and prescription information accurately into our database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Verify and correct data discrepancies, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and provide excellent customer service when handling inquiries related to data entry tasks
- Develop and implement processes to improve data entry efficiency and accuracy, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives, and participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in data entry is a plus but not required
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns
Preferred Qualifications:
We prefer candidates with:
- Prior experience in data entry or a related field, although not required
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and terminology, and experience working with confidential or sensitive information
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare software applications, and strong technical skills, including experience with databases and data systems
