Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Last Mile group, where you'll play a critical role in developing and deploying predictive models that drive business outcomes. As a machine learning engineer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines, machine learning models, and data visualizations that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy machine learning models that drive business outcomes, including predictive modeling, clustering, and decision trees
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouses
- Design and implement data visualizations that communicate complex insights to stakeholders, using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, data science, and data engineering, and apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior team members to ensure the highest quality of work
- Develop and maintain data visualizations that communicate complex insights to stakeholders, using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines that meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented documentation that adheres to industry standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, data science, and data engineering, and apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in analytics or a related field, with a strong background in machine learning, data science, and data engineering
- Experience with predictive modeling, clustering, decision trees, and other machine learning algorithms
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- Experience with data engineering tools like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and AWS Glue
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with version control systems like Git and SVN
Skills
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, and SQL
- Experience with machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Experience with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly
- Experience with data engineering tools like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and AWS Glue
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with version control systems like Git and SVN
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights to stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
