Job Summary
The Food Service Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of hourly colleagues in the Food and Beverage department, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of hourly colleagues in the Food and Beverage department, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase team engagement.
- Collaborate with store leaders to achieve business objectives, including sales targets, inventory management, and customer service standards.
- Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business objectives.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction, including streamlining workflows and reducing wait times.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members to promote growth, development, and engagement.
- Manage conflicts and issues in a fair, consistent, and respectful manner, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Participate in store meetings, training sessions, and other events to stay informed about company initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store leaders, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and customer service.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Food Service Team Leader, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old or older.
- Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to creating a positive guest experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to lift, move, and stock merchandise up to 40 pounds.
