We are seeking an experienced entry-level data analyst to join our team in a remote Aetna data entry position. As a data analyst, you will be responsible for designing and developing reporting solutions, analyzing complex data, and presenting findings to internal clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to design and develop reporting solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients.
- Design and develop packages for internal clients.
- Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, assure data integrity and suitability, and determine data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.
- Transform data into actionable insights through reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Present analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications
- Reporting platform – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Development Programming Languages / Knowledge / Experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
- Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Transact SQL
- Database Knowledge / Experience – MS SQL Server
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
- Experience with reporting platform – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database Knowledge / Experience – Hadoop, Oracle
- Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience preferred
Required Education
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
