About the Role
As a Dishwasher and Porter, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our Foodservice Department. Your attention to detail and commitment to our high standards will ensure a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly collect and dispose of all food-related and recyclable waste/trash
- Perform warewashing duties per safety guidelines, including dishmachine and three-compartment pot sink
- Clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions
- Comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
- Transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas as needed
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- No degree or specific education required
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a foodservice or healthcare environment
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
