This Customer Service Representative position is pivotal in supporting the delivery of exceptional service to our retirement plan participants. Utilizing established knowledge of arenaflex products and processes, you will conduct basic analysis to process and support service-related tasks efficiently. Working under limited supervision, you may also provide guidance to entry-level associates or peers, contributing to the growth and development of the team. Your expertise and dedication will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that arenaflex is known for.
To excel in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a college degree being preferred. A background in customer service, preferably within a contact center environment, is required, along with 1-2 years of experience. Previous experience in Retirement Plans is highly desirable. Special skills or knowledge include proficient written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines, and a strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills. The capacity to assume ownership, work within a team environment, and demonstrate a high level of curiosity and willingness to learn are also essential.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of ERISA, IRS/DOL regulations, and qualified plan administration, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Possessing ASPPA exams or equivalents and knowledge of OMNI, Relius, and recordkeeping systems can be advantageous. Being bilingual in Spanish and English is also preferred. The ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, and being available to work between 9-6 p.m. EST or 8-6 p.m. EST with a 30-minute lunch break, is necessary.
