Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes, ensuring they understand the benefits and any potential savings.
- Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain adherent to their therapies, promoting better health outcomes.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information to resolve queries efficiently.
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team on targeted medications to ensure smooth generic conversions or therapy changes.
- Provide customer education on health care, insurance, and reimbursement-related requirements, ensuring patients have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.
- Assess patient needs, identify problems, and escalate issues to pharmacists as necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1+ years of customer service experience, with a focus on handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
- 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience, preferably in a Windows or Microsoft environment, or a similar application.
- Residency in the state of Nevada, as this position requires a deep understanding of local health care needs and regulations.
- A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills.
