**Job Summary:**
We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives at arenaflex's local MVD field office. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to the public, processing motor vehicle services, and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of work products. **Job Duties:**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for the following key duties:
* **Processing Credentials and Title Work:** Examine documents and applications for accuracy, validity, and security, ensuring compliance with ADOT and MVD rules, statutes (ARS Title 28), policies, and procedures.
* **Providing Customer Service:** Answer customer questions, provide information, and assist with vehicle or credential records through system research, document review, and service history. Data entry and review are required.
* **Administering Testing:** Conduct operator knowledge and skills testing, level I vehicle inspections, and VIN validation. Capture customers' photos, signatures, and application information for credential eligibility/issuance.
* **Determining and Collecting Fees:** Evaluate fees, use general accounting procedures to balance accounts, and secure and protect all personal identity information (PII) and inventory.
* **Participating in Process Improvement:** Identify potential gaps in processes, recommend solutions to gain efficiencies, reduce costs, and increase customer service. Participate in process improvement activities, including the use and application of the Arizona Management System.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* **Knowledge of ADOT MVD Rules and Regulations:** Familiarity with or ability to learn ADOT MVD rules, regulations, processes, and procedures.
* **Customer Service Principles:** Knowledge of or ability to execute customer service principles and best practices.
* **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric focus.
* **Typing and Keyboarding:** Ability to type or keyboard at a rate capable of keeping pace with expected productivity for CSR.
* **Adaptability:** Ability to adapt and embrace a changing environment, processes, and procedures.
* **Physical Demands:** Ability to stand or sit for long periods and work outside when necessary.
**Selective Preference(s):**
* **Ideal Candidates:** Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and data entry for CSR 1. 1-year previous MVD experience in T/R and DL with successful completion of training and adherence to performance standards for CSR 3.
**Pre-Employment Requirements:**
* **Valid Arizona Driver's License:** Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
* **Driver's License Record Checks:** Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training.
