**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative - Medicare, you'll play a vital role in handling claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other customer inquiries. You'll work closely with customers to resolve problems, provide solutions, and ensure a seamless experience. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong customer-focused competencies, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Handle inbound calls, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a 5-star experience for all interactions
* Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access customer information and resolve issues
* Use strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
* Utilize empathy and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction ratings
* Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas for improving customer service
**Essential Qualifications**
* Call Center Customer Service experience with a focus on inbound calls (no telesales)
* Excellent customer-focused competencies, with a strong service-oriented mindset
* Empathy and strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
* Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access customer information and resolve issues
* ALL candidates must score a 80% or above on eSkills test
**Preferred Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience/call center experience
* Healthcare industry experience, particularly in the Medicare space
* Previous experience working in a call center environment with a focus on inbound calls
* Medical background or experience working in a healthcare-related field
* Strong knowledge of Medicare policies, procedures, and regulations
