Job Overview

As an Inbound Call Handler, you will be responsible for answering incoming telephone requests, providing excellent customer service, and following scripted questions to gather information from callers. Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow scripted questions to gather information from callers and data enter it into a ticket format
- Utilize a mapping system similar to Google Maps to identify work sites and provide accurate information to customers
- Communicate effectively with excavators, peers, and management to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service
- Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
- Demonstrate an interest in public safety and apply new concepts to improve our services
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
- General computer skills and proficiency in using digital maps
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adhere to a work schedule, including having good attendance and being punctual
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
- Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
- Availability to work during operating hours of the call center, Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications
