As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every customer has a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your duties will include assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions, maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, keeping the store well-stocked, and receiving merchandise. You will be responsible for creating a positive, safe, and respectful environment for our customers, associates, and leaders, while maintaining professional and friendly interactions at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred. You must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents, with excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and communication skills are also required, along with the ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
