Job Overview
As a Customer Service and Dispatch Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling a wide range of inquiries, concerns, and requests. Your goal will be to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive experience and promoting customer loyalty. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from customers, assisting with inquiries, concerns, or requests, and routing calls to the appropriate person when necessary
- Maintain good customer relations by providing exceptional service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle and resolve a variety of customer concerns, complaints, and questions via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels, including billing inquiries, technician ETA, scheduling issues, and general product and service questions
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching, exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records by updating account information and ensuring data integrity
- Accurately disposition calls, ensuring that all customer interactions are properly documented and followed up on as needed
- Continually maintain working knowledge of all blithequark products, services, and promotions to provide informed support and recommendations to customers
- Work to improve accuracy in scheduling and speed of response, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective support
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and on-time job performance, ensuring that our customers receive consistent and reliable support
- Perform similar or other duties as needed or assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work evening and weekend shifts, including holidays, to ensure that our customers receive support when they need it most
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience working in customer service or another customer-facing environment
- Experience or training in the use of computers and related systems in an administrative office environment, including proficiency in software applications and technology
- Excellent customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Effective communication skills to communicate with customers and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to work effectively in both a team and an independent environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make decisions based on established guidelines and procedures, using sound judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to accept empowerment and make decisions regarding customer satisfaction with confidence, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective support
- Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize work based on service demands and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- An understanding and knowledge of the HVAC/Refrigeration Industry, with experience working in a related field or environment
- Previous experience working in a customer service or dispatch role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer support and resolving issues efficiently
- Proficiency in software applications and technology, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, help desk software, and other tools and platforms
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
