Experienced Customer Experience Manager – Leading Front End Operations and Delivering Exceptional Service in a Fast-Paced Retail Environment at blithequark

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact and exceptional service
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, focusing on fast, friendly checkout experiences
• Leads the store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals, as provided by the District Manager
• Oversees front-end operations, including merchandising, equipment maintenance, and associate training
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures, store cleanliness, recovery, and maintaining a customer-ready store at all times
• Performs store manager duties in their absence and partners with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise crew members
• Reviews corporate communications and reacts accordingly, partnering with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery
• Performs store maintenance tasks, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school graduate or equivalent, with college experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a retail environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and think creatively
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and lead by example

Essential Job Functions

In this role, you will be required to:

• Frequently operate a cash register and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock, and position yourself to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
• Communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers, both in person and over the phone
• Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts, with potential travel required
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.50 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your hourly rate, you will be eligible for benefits, bonus and incentive payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
