In this vital role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of arenaflex members, overseeing and evaluating BHT, including ABA services, for eligible members. As a Care Manager, you will ensure that members receive the highest quality of care based on medical necessity, working collaboratively with team members to fulfill departmental objectives and support both immediate and long-term goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, along with a minimum of four years of experience in providing ABA or mental health services, including clinical review and treatment plan oversight. You will also need to hold a current, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, RN with BH experience, BCBA, or BCBA-D).
In addition to the essential qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with colleagues and external partners from diverse backgrounds. You will be able to work autonomously while exercising sound judgment in decision-making, and adapt to a flexible work schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to prosper in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will also need to inspire and motivate team members and external committees, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and related applications.
