Our Hybrid Work Model

What You'll Do
We're excited to share that the Business Development Agent role starts at $20 per hour plus commission with earning potential up to $2250/month, along with the option of a number of exciting benefits! As a Business Development Agent, you will assist future customers through the process of selecting the right system, products, and services best suited for their lifestyle needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting future customers through the process of selecting the right system, products, and services best suited for their lifestyle needs.
- Identifying key insights to customers' needs and providing recommendations to help secure their home, family, pets, etc.
- Following SimpliSafe's sales methodology to ensure the highest level of respect, trust, and loyalty with our future customers.
- Performing customer follow-up activities, including quotes, information requests, etc.
- Properly collecting and inputting customer information for proper customer identification.
- Making recommendations of special promotions and affiliated partners' products and services.

Must-Have Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must be:
- Eligible for certification as an electronic security employee, which requires submitting your fingerprints to the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) for use in conducting a national criminal records search and a Virginia criminal history search.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
