Key Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeper for SFR, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert bookkeeping services to clients via QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
- Conducting virtual meetings with clients to address their questions and concerns, providing personalized support and guidance.
- Closing the books monthly and sending timely email reports to clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments.
- Preparing financial statements, conducting periodic reconciliations, and performing other tasks as needed to support client needs.
- Collaborating with your manager, administrative team, and tax preparation team to ensure seamless client service and delivery.
- Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, recommending new services or tools to enhance client value and efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Bookkeeper at SFR, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience providing detailed bookkeeping and accounting support, with a proven track record of accuracy and reliability.
- QuickBooks Online Certification, with a strong understanding of QuickBooks features and functionality.
- 3+ years of experience using QuickBooks in a professional setting, with a demonstrated ability to navigate the platform with ease.
- Proficiency in Outlook and Office 365 Online Suite, including Outlook Online, Microsoft ToDo, Microsoft Teams Meetings, and SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and professionally.
- A passion for delivering exceptional client service, with a focus on ensuring client success and satisfaction.
