Job Overview
As a Bilingual RN, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care and support to our diverse resident population. You will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, developing and implementing care plans, and monitoring their progress. Your ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English will enable you to provide culturally sensitive care and support to our residents and their families. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support to residents and their families, taking into account their cultural and linguistic needs
- Monitor residents and administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies, collaborating with other healthcare professionals
- Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care, promoting excellence in all aspects of care
- Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential, respecting their privacy and dignity
Essential Qualifications
- Must hold a valid RN License, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Decent computer skills, with experience in electronic medical records and other healthcare software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Long-term care experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of older adults
- Should be friendly, compassionate, and a team worker, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
Preferred Qualifications
