Job Description:The Early Learning Content Development Specialist will contribute significantly to the development of early childhood related content for the Lastinger Center's early childhood professional learning product line. The content should be accessible for early childhood educators of all levels and include resources to assist early childhood educators in supporting children toward kindergarten readiness. Resources might include items like scripts for video training or strategy planning sheets. This position will also provide support to the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Coordinator, assuring continuous accreditation for the Center's early childhood professional learning products. This position is time-limited, and soft-funded.The University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning's mission is to improve the quality ofteaching, learning, and childcare. We research, develop, and scale educational innovations for adults and children that put all learners on trajectories for lifelong success. Specifically, the Center targets kindergartenreadiness, 3rd grade reading proficiency, and algebra proficiency as critical milestones in children's educational trajectory that are predictive of success in school and life. Content Quality Assurance Accreditation Support and Team Collaboration Other Duties as AssignedHybrid work location policy:Lastinger Center for Learning supports and promotes a healthy work-life balance. To achieve this, the Lastinger Center offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule that aligns with the university's Flexibility in the Workplace Policy. Allowing employees to stagger arrival and departure times as necessary and to vary the number of workdays in the office so long as an employee's FTE commitment is fulfilled within the university workweek. This policy also allows for occasional, incidental remote work based on individual circumstances.
Expected Salary:$55,000 - $65,000
