Position: Director of Marketing Strategy (Real Estate) Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (Sales Org.) About the Role The Director of Marketing Strategy is the steward of the Rain City brand. This role leads brand strategy, messaging, and integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen market presence, deepen borrower relationships, and support scalable revenue growth. You will partner closely with Sales and Executive Leadership to ensure our voice, positioning, and campaigns align with company strategy. This is a leadership role for someone who sees marketing not just as lead generation—but as narrative, positioning, and long-term brand equity. About You You are a strategic marketing leader who understands that brand is a long-term asset. You combine creativity with discipline. You value clarity over noise, positioning over promotion, and measurable impact over vanity metrics. You are confident presenting to executives, coaching your team, and representing the company publicly when needed. What You’ll Own Brand Strategy & Positioning · Define and evolve Rain City’s brand voice and market positioning · Ensure consistency across all borrower, investor, and internal touchpoints · Champion brand standards and storytelling across channels Integrated Campaign Leadership · Develop and lead omnichannel campaigns (digital, events, PR, social, content) · Align messaging with borrower lifecycle and product strategy · Track performance metrics while protecting long-term brand value Executive & Corporate Communications · Support executive visibility and thought leadership initiatives · Guide investor-facing and corporate messaging · Oversee internal communications that reinforce culture and clarity Sales Alignment · Partner with Sales to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and support market expansion · Strengthen borrower engagement and referral strategies Team & Vendor Leadership · Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team · Manage agency and creative partners · Establish clear processes, documentation, and accountability You'll bring: · 5+ years of progressive marketing experience · Leadership experience managing teams or vendors · Strong expertise in brand strategy, messaging, and campaign execution · Comfort operating in financial services, lending, or real estate environments (preferred) · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience) Rain City Capital offers a remote work environment, which means employees perform their duties remotely and will be expected to check email, phone, and text messages throughout the day and respond in a timely fashion consistent with a normal workday. The employee in this position must be able to read, write, speak and understand English with exceptional fluency.
