Job Summary: Customer Solutions Specialist
As a Customer Solutions Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through phone, live chat, and email support. This action-oriented role requires flexible problem-solving skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to navigate our internal systems efficiently. You'll be responsible for providing accurate and timely solutions to customer inquiries, ensuring that our customers have the most up-to-date information about their orders, and collaborating with other departments to support both the customer and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate solutions to customer inquiries through phone, live chat, and email, ensuring an excellent customer experience and enhanced customer loyalty.
- Learn about blithequark's history, products, and services, as well as the foodservice industry, to effectively navigate our internal systems and provide informed support to customers.
- Partner with other departments within and outside of Customer Solutions to support both the customer and the company, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Analyze customer situations, investigate problems, and provide strategic solutions within our business model, using best practices and a customer-centric approach.
- Foster a team-oriented environment by maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all correspondence, both within and outside the company.
- Be flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a company, taking initiative and using strategic thinking to drive success.

Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows system/internet navigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; conversational fluency in English.
- Proficient typing abilities.
- The ability to work a training schedule of 9:30 AM – 6 PM ET or local time zone equivalent, Monday through Friday, during the 60-day onboarding period.
- The ability to work 11:30 AM – 8 PM ET or local time zone equivalent, Monday through Friday, after the 60-day onboarding period.
- A quiet and distraction-free work area, with access to a home router and modem.
- Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A college education.
- At least 1 year of customer-facing experience.
- A desire to learn and grow, with an internal drive to succeed.
- Ability to work on a team and independently, with a concern for helping others and doing the right thing by them.

Physical Demands and Remote Work Requirements
As a remote employee, you'll need to meet certain physical demands and remote work requirements, including:
- Working while sitting and/or standing for at least 8 hours each day.
- The ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- The regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations while using a personal computer.
- The ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free, with a strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection.
