About the position The Compliance Education Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for training customers on OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom compliance regulations. This role involves conducting presentations, performing on-site evaluations, and providing consultations to ensure customers meet compliance standards. Responsibilities Provide onsite services including PowerPoint presentations, OSHA site evaluations, and HIPAA gap analysis. , Assist with managing assigned territory and company expenses such as travel and accommodations. , Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to resolve compliance questions. , Utilize electronic technology to deliver onsite visits and upload customer documents promptly. , Continuously study and maintain competency in bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom regulations. , Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred. , 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment. , Completion of 30-hour online OSHA training required within the first 6 weeks of employment. , Completion of HIPAA certification at a later date upon joining the team. Nice-to-haves Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. , Ability to build sound relationships with customers through open communication. , Strong decision-making skills considering facts and organizational resources. , Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple activities effectively.
