About the position As a Claims Adjuster specializing in attorney-represented bodily injury claims, you will manage a portfolio of claims, working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle cases. This mid-level position requires a strong understanding of liability, coverage, and damages, as well as the ability to assess claims effectively. Responsibilities Determine coverage and liability for claims. , Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys. , Settle claims and establish reserves. , Estimate costs of treatment or compensation for injured parties. , Analyze and interpret medical reports and manage the claims process for efficient resolution. , Interview and collect information from claimants, agents, attorneys, and police. Requirements Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling, OR , One year in claims handling and a bachelor's degree, OR , Three years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling and an associate degree.
