This position offers the opportunity to advocate for employee rights in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, a passion for representing plaintiffs, and the ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda Take and defend depositions Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal advice to clients Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop effective case strategies Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and manage expectations Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active bar membership in both California and New York (required) Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law, preferably on the plaintiff side Strong litigation skills, including experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Demonstrated commitment to advocating for employee rights Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range of $130,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and professional development opportunities Supportive and collegial work environment with opportunities for growth and mentorship Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 Reference: 147491 Expected salary : $130000 - 140000 per year Location : Los Angeles, CA Apply for the job now!
