We are seeking a full time Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for attending 5 to 15 civil court hearings throughout the State of Indiana each week virtually and/or in person, preparing legal pleadings, legal research, and negotiating settlements with opposing counsel. Qualifications: Dependable with a strong court and work ethic. Detail oriented and well organized. Ability to gather, compile information, analyze data and prepare reports. Possesses the means to multi-task and function in a high volume, and deadline driven environment. Committed to learning the interworking of a very specialized field. Ability to read, interpret, understand, and implement laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Capacity to communicate with co-workers at all levels in the company and a team player. Adept in Microsoft Office, Windows, LexiNexis and/or Westlaw. Works with managing attorney to report all activities and results. Education and Experience: Juris Doctorate. Already admitted to IN State Bar (MT, OH and MI a plus). Moral fitness.
