Key Responsibilities:
As an ASL-VRI interpreter at Workwarp, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating communication access among Deaf and hearing communities in various healthcare settings
- Providing interpreting and/or transliterating services with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all medical information and adhering to the NAD-RID Professional Code of Conduct
- Rendering messages faithfully, conveying the content and spirit of the speaker
- Accepting assignments with discretion, considering your skills, the setting, and the consumers involved
- Functioning in a manner appropriate to each interpreted situation, with a focus on customer satisfaction

Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Complete proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Valid certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
- Knowledge of the NAD-RID Professional Code of Conduct
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience using MS Office and other related software and systems (e.g., Internet and Intranet applications)
- Medical interpretation experience (preferred)
