Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with baggage pick-up and ensure accurate tracking of luggage using computer systems.
- Resolve passenger issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged items with professionalism and empathy.
- Handle customer interactions with efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive attitude.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, within the scope of your skills and experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
- Ability to lift weights of 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- Must be able to navigate jetway stairs safely and remain alert to moving vehicles and aircraft.
- Proficiency in using radio equipment for communication.
Qualifications
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid In-State Driver's License required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a 10-year background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Completion of ramp and SIDA training is required for airport authority identification and security.
