They are seeking an Administrative Assistant in their Claims Department to provide day-to-day administrative support to Lawyers and Claims Examiners, including preparing documentation, handling confidential information, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Preparing routine documentation and correspondence for a group of Claims Examiners and Lawyers
- Creating reports and tracking departmental data
- Handling confidential information with significant discretion and judgment
- Sending out and tracking couriers and express post packages
- Photocopying, printing and scanning documents
- Closing Claim files as per the closing procedures
- Assisting Claims Examiners with administrative support as required
- Incoming and Outgoing mail
- Answering all incoming Claims calls
- Other duties as assigned or required
Skills
- 1-3 years of administrative experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effectively interacts within a team setting
- Resourceful nature
- Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) advanced knowledge of Excel is required
