Join Our Innovative Team as an Information Security Risk Intern We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Information Security team as a Summer Intern. Job Summary: Providing Incident Response support and documenting, investigating, and reporting on information security issues and emerging trends Managing and configuring tools and devices to expand our security monitoring infrastructure Collecting and examining historical financial, security, and deviation data to identify patterns and anomalies Creating and refining actuarial models to accurately estimate future risks and their potential impact Evaluating the financial consequences of risks and analyzing risk mitigation strategies Representing risk data in visual reports and dashboards to communicate the past, present, and potential future state of risk Developing queries and visualizations to assist with security and compliance tasks Collaborating with other teams to gather information regarding security problems, issues, and ideas Requirements: Strong ethical and discretionary ability to handle sensitive information and data Excellent communication and networking skills (written, verbal, listening) Basic competency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, SQL, Go, and/or Dart) Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and/or penetration testing techniques (preferred) Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google App Engine (GAE) (preferred) Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems Self-motivation and initiative skills to search for and resolve security issues Initiative and social skills to network with technical individuals to gather information on projects Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar degree What We Offer: Competitive salary ($40.00 - $40.00 per hour) 401(k) participation and match Paid sick leave A unique opportunity to further your learning experience through additional internship seasons Flexible working hours and remote work options Opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about innovation and security How to Apply: Ready to join our team?
