Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative - Dental (EST) to join our team at blithequark. As a Dental CSR, you'll be the face of our organization, impacting the service experience of our members through your exceptional customer service skills. You'll engage with members, providers, and plan sponsors, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on our plans, tools, and resources. Key Responsibilities Engage with members, providers, and plan sponsors via phone, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner. Provide guidance and education to members on our plans, tools, and resources, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and options. Triages resulting rework to appropriate staff, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues. Documents and tracks contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors, maintaining accurate records and reports. Creates an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging with their unique needs and preferences. Anticipates customer needs, providing related information to answer unasked questions and resolve issues proactively. Uses customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues. Explains member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Advocates for the member, resolving billing conflicts and taking them out of the middle. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating empathy and compassion. Experience in a production environment, with a proven track record of meeting productivity and quality standards. A High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with: Experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of dental plans and benefits. Knowledge of customer service threshold framework and regulatory guidelines. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
