Key Responsibilities As a Windows System Engineer and Automation Developer at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing expert-level support for Windows Server administration, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of Windows-based systems Developing and implementing automation scripts using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline our infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes Collaborating with the team to design, develop, and implement automated solutions for Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks for Windows OS provisioning Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure, with a focus on public cloud automation using Azure and GCP Participating in the development and maintenance of our GitHub repository, including contributing to open-source projects and sharing knowledge with the community Providing examples of script development via GitHub or work samples to demonstrate your expertise and showcase your skills Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications: 5+ years of experience in system engineering with Windows Server administration, including expertise in Windows OS provisioning and automation Strong knowledge of PowerShell and GitHub, with experience in public cloud automation using Azure and GCP 4+ years of experience writing scripts with open-source technologies, such as Ansible and Terraform Proven track record of supporting automation for Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks for Windows OS provisioning Ability to show examples of script development via GitHub or work samples Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working with open-source technologies, such as Linux and Docker Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git and Jenkins Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, with expertise in Windows Server administration, PowerShell, and GitHub Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
