As a Technical Lead II, you'll be responsible for leading a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, product direction, and coaching to help them grow and succeed. Key Responsibilities Lead a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, product direction, and coaching to help them grow and succeed Participate in the technical execution and delivery of new features to improve time to value Unify separate systems into a cohesive chat experience Explore generative AI opportunities to help our customers move fast Make use of industry-leading 3rd party tools as well as robust home-grown infrastructure powering the blithequark Engineering organization Build and scale a robust data infrastructure that serves the entire organization Collaborate with Product, Design, and other Tech Leads within their team to establish relevant, compelling, and challenging goals Actively work with other Tech Leads to address and resolve cross-team issues Take proactive ownership of the team's on-call health, product reliability, and overall quality Have a vested interest in the direction of the product, actively participating in decision-making rather than deferring to the PM, PD, or others Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a strong senior engineer with some experience leading small teams. You should have a passion for writing code and reading code, as well as a desire to mentor and coach other team members. You'll also need to be committed to building a diverse team and fostering an environment that encourages autonomy and psychological safety.
