As a key member of our team, the ROI Data Entry Administrator plays a vital role in retrieving and logging medical records requests into our ROI system. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently in a high-volume production environment, and a strong commitment to maintaining the accuracy and privacy of medical records. Key Responsibilities The ROI Data Entry Administrator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Utilizing electronic data systems to process information accurately and efficiently. Ensuring the timely completion of client requests to prevent backlogs and maintain high productivity standards. Communicating effectively with team members and client representatives to resolve issues and address concerns in a professional manner. Making informed decisions about the specific components of medical records to be released, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility guidelines. Reviewing and applying HIPAA regulations to ensure that all aspects of medical records management comply with privacy statutes. Determining which records are to be released by carefully reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Completing release of information requests with complete accuracy, performing quality checks to ensure the highest level of precision. Retrieving patients' medical charts and pulling medical records accurately according to requests, ensuring that all information is handled with care and confidentiality. Electronically transmitting medical records to processing operations, maintaining a record of all transmissions for auditing purposes. Working within the scope of the position and direction, accepting additional tasks as needed to support the team and contribute to the success of blithequark. Recording hours utilizing proper class codes and activity codes in the electronic time-keeping system, ensuring accurate tracking of work hours and productivity. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following essential qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education. Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software systems. Accurate data entry skills, with a high level of attention to detail and precision. The ability to work effectively and independently in high-volume production environments, maintaining productivity and efficiency. Experience retrieving information from computer databases is helpful, although not required, as training will be provided to the right candidate. Dependable with good organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: College courses or a degree in a related field, beneficial for advancing knowledge and skills in medical records management.
