Key Responsibilities Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones and responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries. Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively. Clarify orders as needed, utilizing knowledge of brand name and generic medications to ensure accuracy and precision. Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Essential Qualifications Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License, or equivalent certification. Previous experience in pharmacy, with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred. Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including dosage forms, strengths, and indications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHRs) systems. Great telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner. High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in pharmacy technology or a related field preferred. Preferred Qualifications Frameworks / ECM knowledge, with experience in electronic content management systems and document management software. Previous experience in customer service, with a proven track record of resolving customer complaints and improving customer satisfaction. Certification in pharmacy technology, such as the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential. Experience with pharmacy management systems, including dispensing software and inventory management tools. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and state-specific laws and regulations.
