Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Customer Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Technical Support Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our residential and small business customers, resolving technical issues, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Able to multitask across multiple systems and applications Receive customer inbound phone calls for various technical issues, providing technical assistance and customer education Troubleshoot customer technical issues using guided workflows, with the goal of resolving issues on the first call Present our Virtual Service Call process, saving customers time and money when possible Assist customers with scheduling an onsite Technician visit when required, after positively positioning Virtual and self-serve options Provide excellent customer interactions and experiences, using empathy, soft skills, and connecting with customers Maintain a private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace that meets company standards, with adequate internet bandwidth to perform the role Demonstrate a passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience, including comprehensive issue resolution Be fluid with changes and receptive to feedback, with a focus on ongoing performance improvements and technological enhancements Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent Troubleshooting skills and experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently Ability to empathize and connect with customers, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Ability to multitask with ease, prioritize tasks effectively, and be a self-starter Demonstrated problem-solving and customer de-escalation skills Experience and Skills We are looking for candidates with: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience, preferably in a technical support role Technical experience, although not required, is a plus Excellent communication skills, with the ability to type at least 35 wpm Intermediate knowledge of computer applications and software Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively What's in it for You?
