Job Overview As a remote customer service representative in a contractor role for blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients via inbound phone calls, chat messages, and emails. You will interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their queries, resolving issues, and providing support to ensure a positive experience. With the flexibility to create your own schedule, you will have the opportunity to work at times that suit you best, as long as you meet the required availability during weekdays and daytime hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to clients via inbound phone calls, chat messages, and emails Address customer queries, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure a positive experience Work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision Manage your time effectively to meet productivity and performance targets Utilize technology, including computer applications and software, to deliver high-quality service Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge Earnings and Revenue As a contractor for blithequark, your earnings will vary depending on the client and your performance. Hourly rates range from $14 to $20, with additional incentives available based on client and performance metrics. Your pay will be determined by your phone call status when assisting customers, and you will have the opportunity to earn more by meeting and exceeding performance targets. Required Skills for Successful Contractors: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills Friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset Proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software Technology and Equipment Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to have access to a quiet and secure work environment, with the following technology and equipment: Personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted) Wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity Operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS) Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed Smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad is required for program work, along with an authentication app Work Environment Requirements: Quiet, uninterrupted space Organized desk area Home Office Locations Please note that the following locations are not approved for home office work: Alaska Allenspark, Colorado California Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado Connecticut Delaware Denver, Colorado Edgewater, Colorado Eldora, Colorado Eldorado Springs, Colorado Flagstaff, Arizona Gold Hill, Colorado Gunbarrel, Colorado Hawaii Hygiene, Colorado Illinois Michigan Maine Massachusetts Maryland Minneapolis, Minnesota New Jersey New York Niwot, Colorado Oregon Rhode Island St. Paul, Minnesota Tucson, Arizona Virginia Vermont Washington Washington DC Contractual Relationship As a contractor for blithequark, you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings, and you will be required to agree to have no claim against blithequark for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
